A fragment of light torn from its context—a part of the intangible separated from its environment and forced to exist as a material object. A color phenomenon that is normally unstable is captured in a fixed format and frozen in a moment that would otherwise pass. The disrupted edges bear traces of this transformation, when light was torn from reality. The fleeting becomes permanent. The phenomenon becomes an object.
